Shipping Policy

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. You will receive an order confirmation via email once your order is placed and a shipment confirmation with tracking once your order is on its way to you.


Morning Dawns Candle Co. currently ships with FedEx, UPS, or USPS. Once a package has left our fulfillment center, Morning Dawns Candle Co. cannot be held accountable for lost or stolen packages.

We do not recommend shipping to a PO Box as some carriers (including USPS) sometimes experience difficulty making the delivery which could potentially result in the loss of goods. Shipments to PO Boxes may also take longer to deliver on average than shipments made by ground or express service. Morning Dawns Candle Co. will not be responsible for lost packages shipped to PO Boxes.

Packages that are returned to our warehouse for any reason which you would like re-sent will incur an additional shipping fee.

If you require a change of address once the package is in route we will do the best to accommodate you, however there will be an $18 fee to do so. This fee is charged to us by the carrier and unfortunately cannot be waived.

Note to International residents: All international shipments are final sale and Morning Dawns Candle Co. is not responsible for import duties and taxes charged by your respective government. 

If you believe your package has been lost or stolen please contact the carrier assigned to your order and begin an investigation. If they are unable to assist, please email us at info@morningdawnscandleco.com so we can do all that we can to help.

In cases where your package is marked as delivered but you have note received it, it may be helpful to check with your neighbors as packages are frequently delivered to the wrong addresses within a few blocks.

If your product has been damaged in shipment please take photos of the damage to the box and product and reach out to us so we can replace your item(s) and begin a claim.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

 What is your return policy?

We understand there may be occasions where you wish to return an item(s). We offer a 14 day return policy, so if for any reason you change your mind about your purchase, you can return it, in its original condition, within 14 days of the date you received it and receive a refund. The refund does not include the shipping charged for sending the item(s) to you, or return shipping costs.

Return authorization must be obtained. Please email info@morningdawnscandleco.com with your order number and reason for returning. We will send you a return authorization with shipping instructions. Merchandise may not used. All packaging and inserts must be in tact. All returns are subject to inspection and we reserve the right to refuse your refund if your return does not meet these requirements.

We recommend shipping your return with tracking (and insurance) to ensure it makes it back to us, otherwise we will not be able to issue a refund on your item(s).

Please allow up to 10 business days to process your return.

We reserve the right to reject any returns/exchanges that do not comply with the conditions stated above. If your package is not accepted, it will be sent back to you at your expense and a refund will not be granted.

Items that appear used or worn upon inspection are not eligible for a refund.

Can I exchange my candle?

Unfortunately we are not able to offer exchanges at this time.

 

Can I cancel my order?

Sorry, once the order is place, it cannot be cancelled. We are sure you are going to love our products!

INGREDIENTS

What are your candles made out of?

We use a 100% soy wax.

Soy burns cooler and longer than paraffin, and as a renewable resource, it is superior for the environment.

Our wicks are lead-free and are made of braided cotton.

 

Are your fragrances natural?

Our fragrances are a combination of essential oils and fragrance oils. All of our fragrances are phthalate-free and adhere to RIFM and IFRA standards for safety and purity.

 

What is the fragrance load?

Each candle boasts a 9-10% fragrance load.

 

CANDLE BURNING TIPS

How do I fix tunneling?

Allow enough time for the wax to melt completely to the edge of the container to prevent tunneling. 

Can I repurpose my candle?

Heck yea you can!

We designed our candles so that you'd be excited to repurpose them. 

Candle Care:

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Keep candles and open flames out of the reach of children and pets.

Be sure to place your candle on a heat resistant surface and away from flammable objects before lighting. 

Avoid burning your candle for more than 3-4 hours at a time.

Trim the wicks of your candle to 1/4" before you light it each time of use.  

Be sure to extinguish any flame before leaving the room.
